Frequently asked questions
Is a health check the same as full legal due diligence?
No. A health check is a quick review of key legal areas within an agreed scope, to identify issues and set priorities. Full due diligence goes wider and deeper and usually supports fundraising or M&A. We can advise on it separately if you need it.
What does the Essential package cover?
A quick review of employment records, three standard contracts and your licences, with a Red / Amber / Green status report. The scope can be extended to suit your size and needs; the fee is always confirmed before work starts.
What documents should we prepare?
Usually your enterprise registration certificate, charter, a sample of employment contracts, work rules and pay scales, the contract templates you use and any sector licences. We send a specific list after the intake call. Please do not send documents through the website form.
What if you find issues outside the scope?
They are still recorded in the report with a recommendation. If you want us to handle them, we propose a scope and quote a separate fee before doing any work.
Can FC Legal help fix the issues afterwards?
Yes. You can deal with individual issues as one-off projects or choose ongoing support such as an in-house counsel retainer, IP protection or personal data compliance.
How is our information handled?
Documents are received through a channel we agree with you, used only for the review and kept confidential under our professional duty as lawyers. We can sign an NDA on request.
