Frequently asked questions
Does FC Legal take on individual matters?
Yes. You can use our services for a single matter without signing a long-term in-house counsel package. The scope of work, timeline and fee are agreed before work starts.
How is the fee set?
The fee depends on the scope of work, complexity, volume of documents and time needed. “From” prices are for reference; FC Legal sends a specific quote after reviewing your documents. State fees and charges and VAT are charged separately.
How long does a service usually take?
It depends on the topic. Work such as a contract review or advice on a specific issue is usually done within a few business days. Procedures with state authorities also depend on the statutory processing time. The timeline is set out in our service proposal.
Can topic-based services be combined with an in-house counsel package?
Yes. If you already use an in-house counsel package, you can add topic-based services when a matter falls outside the package scope. If such needs come up regularly, FC Legal will advise you on moving to a corporate in-house counsel package to keep costs down.
Does FC Legal represent clients before state authorities?
Yes, within the authority you give us and as permitted by law. For example, filing documents and dealing with the business registration authority, the labour authority or inspection teams.
Is our company information kept confidential?
Yes. Lawyers must keep client information confidential under the Law on Lawyers and the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Lawyers. FC Legal can sign a separate non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on request.
